ABOUT
Soprano Katherine Sanford Schrock is a versatile artist in operatic and concert repertoire. She has been featured in principal and supporting roles with Virginia Opera, Nashville Opera, Opera San Jose, Pacific Northwest Opera, and Opera Colorado, among others.
Her operatic roles include Musetta in La Boheme, Dorabella in Così fan tutte, Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus, Nicklausse in Les contes d’Hoffmann, Hansel in Hansel und Gretel, Kate Pinkerton in
Madama Butterfly, and the Second Lady in Die Zauberflöte.
Equally comfortable as a concert soloist, Katherine has performed with the Eastern Chorale Arts Society, Baltimore Choral Society, the Fresno Master Chorale, the Bakersfield Master Chorale, among others.
Katherine has fulfilled young artist residencies with such prestigious regional companies as Nashville Opera, Opera Colorado, and Des Moines Metro Opera. She earned her Masters degree at the University of Michigan and her undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland.
